Weekly weigh in-- February week 2

Well I'm back in one piece from my winter ski vacation. I had a wonderful time and will be sharing my experiences with you all about Canada later this week so make sure to stay tuned for that amazingness.

So while I was away I really had every intention of eating on weight watchers -- but that failed hardcore. I'm not upset with myself because it was my vacation and only a few days. I'm back on track today so that's what counts.

This weeks weight loss: +3
Total weight loss: 15

Skiing for 3 days last week for 8 hours straight really does give you an appetite. I feel like I was always hungry or eating. The skiing was literally physically exhausting which made making meals and really caring what went into my body that much harder. I didn't want to have to make myself something else to eat. I wanted to have it quick and easy. I guess I should learn balance.

I'm not really upset with this number because I know I'm getting back on track now and that the 3 pounds is likely water weight from eating different foods and having different habits.

I had fun while away, but I am really glad I'm home and can get back into a routine with normal foods!

  1. Eating to lose weight while on vacation is HARD! I am so glad to hear that you are not being hard on yourself for the gain and realize that it can drop off pretty quickly once you get back into the swing of things now that you're home.

    You can do this girl!

    1. Thanks girl! That was pretty much my plan for the week there-- I tried to eat healthy but I wasn't going to let it ruin the run I was having! Thanks for the support!

  5. You're doing great! Dieting is tough on vacations. Get right back on track, and you'll be fine. Besides, think of all the exercise you go skiing.

  6. I don't blame you for eating off track while vacationing, it's part of the vacation, but I'm sure now that your back home, it will be easier to get back into the eating right mode. Good luck this week.
