Day 2--Thursday:
These were the views:
It doesn't really look it in the pictures and from the smiles on our faces but it was really FREAKING cold that day. To be exact it was -18 degrees.
We got lucky and the wind decided not to blow very much. But it was still REALLY cold.
We got a few decent hours of skiing in before we decided we were too frozen to keep going so we took an hour break for lunch. The strange thing about skiing at bigger resorts like this is that they're so big the don't have the money or power to light the whole mountain so skiing stops at about 3:45. So we had to make the most of our days and eat and warm up quickly.
When the slopes closed we made our way back to our condo and started a fire.
One of the boys decided Chili would be an awesome idea for dinner and oh my lordy it was. I think we all just sat around trying to warm up for at least an hour.
The nice thing about the condo that we booked was that it was a 2 minute walk from the slopes and the village. This made eating lunch less expensive and more convenient.
After dinner we decided to head into town and do a little shopping.
What's the coldest temperature you've ever been out and about in?
What your favorite winter outdoor activity?

I've been out and about in temperatures around where it was for you in Canada. Wisconsin weather can be pretty wicked in winter! A couple weeks ago we were fighting seriously cold temperatures for a while and it sucked!
